One of my favourite PaperPretties to make is labels for water bottles for special occasions. Normally, I would not promote buying bottled water but once in a blue moon it makes sense.
I printed these water bottle labels on vellum which looks nice but special care is required. Vellum does not absorb ink the way normal paper does so it comes out of an ink jet printer wet. This means that you have to print one sheet at a time and be careful with it until it dries. It only takes a minute to dry but you still have to be aware of it so that you do not touch the ink because it will smudge.
An 8.5 by 11 sheet of paper divided in thirds is perfect to make the labels. The short side of the paper fits exactly around the water bottle with just the right amount of room to glue the ends together. I usually glue the labels with Zots because Zots hold better than most craft glue.
Have you ever tried to make these? I would love to hear how they worked out for you and see your label photos.
