[it-rotate group=”16″]This morning I tried something I have never experienced before; I had my palm read by Vicki Starfire. When she was finished my reading she asked if I had any questions. Since I did this on the spur of the moment I couldn’t think of anything to ask so I asked her if that is her real name and yes, it is. Starfire – doesn’t that paint a picture! She did hit a couple spots that I thought were remarkably specific and pretty insightful. Maybe I was open to this because I just watched “Eat, Pray, Love” again but I have to say it was surprisingly interesting. You can find Vicki at Mystic Fare. Too bad I couldn’t think of any good questions. Next time….

Nourish Juice has a new flavour that I had to try. It is called “Heart Beet, made with orange, beets and ginger and is delicious. It is supposed to boost your immune system and lower your blood pressure. I don’t need my blood pressure any lower but it sure feels good after a night of overindulgence which I am often recovering from on a Sunday morning. It was so good that I had to pick up a bottle of the green stuff. I wish I knew about this juice when I was looking for healthy nourishing food that doesn’t taste awful when my son was recovering.

It was a treat to run into Dorothy from my favourite pottery Cold Stream Pottery. They have beautiful new pieces; square bowls, a wine jug and little round cups that fit comfortably in your hand. I could imagine the healing power of some hot green tea in one of those little mugs, or maybe some warm Sake.
